Cooing and Smiling

So Oliver is just the cutest baby ever! We love it when he smiles and coos! We've decided that his "happy spot" is the changing table because for some reason when he's there he talks and smiles the most. Here is a short little clip of him smiling that Elizabeth took the other day! Enjoy!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Dear Friends and Family:
With the arrival and adjustment to Oliver and parenthood we just didn't get our act together quick enough to send out Christmas Cards. We know this isn't the same as getting a fun picture in the mail but it will have to do this year! Sorry! :)
We made several attempts at family pictures... Oliver was either crying or sleeping every time... so this is what we ended up with! :)
Things have been hectic but good. We feel that we have been specially blessed this year with the arrival of our little Ollie! He' s such a sweet baby and although he's gassy and a little fussy he has such a sweet spirit and personality. After an afternoon of tears he'll just suddenly shoot one of us a big toothless grin and we can't help but smile ourselves. He's just so sweet!
We hope that all of you enjoy your Christmas and New Year! You are all in our thoughts and prayers and hope that things are going well!
We love you all!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Love,
Roberto, Elizabeth & Oliver

My first month!

Hello everybody! I've been keeping my mom so busy I decided I'd better help her out and tell you all how my first month has been! It's been pretty exciting. I'm a growing little boy. I've already gone from 9 lbs 7 ounces to 12 lbs 2 ounces. Mommy says it's because I'm a good eater... I think she's probably right!
I've had a bunch of exciting adventures already. First I was able to go home from the hospital with mom and dad and get to know my Grandpa and Grammy Bonelli and my Aunt Lianna and Uncle Donnie... boy do I have them fooled... they just love me and think I'm the cutest thing ever! They sure do spoil me! Then when I was just one week old my Grandpa and Grandma Galindo, my Tia Elena, my Aunt Terri, and my cousin Vandana all came to visit me. Grandpa, Grandma and Tia Elena all came from Arizona... but Aunt Terri and Cousin Vandana came the farthest... they came all the way from Spain just to visit me! That was a lot of fun and I was on my best behavior for them! My other great adventure so far was over Thanksgiving I was able to take my first road trip to Arizona so we could see Grandma and Grandpa's new house. That was neat because I got to spend more time with them and Terri and Vandana again! The trip home wasn't so much fun... I had a cold and cried a lot, but we made it back safe and sound!
My mommy and daddy think I'm so smart because I'm already smiling and cooing at everybody. They love watching me smile and laugh.
I think that's about it for now! Stay tuned to next month... and hopefully a little sooner my mommy will send everyone some Holiday wishes! Until next time.... enjoy a few of my most recent pictures! I'm growing everyday!

Love,
Oliver Cole!

He's Finally Here!!!! Welcome Home Oliver!!!

Dear Friends and Family:
We are happy to announce the arrival of Oliver Cole Galindo. He arrived on November 4th at 10:53 am. He weighed in at 9 lbs 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well and returned home from the hospital yesterday afternoon!

Sunday morning at 8:00 we reported to the hospital so Elizabeth could be induced. She was 4 centimeters and 100% effaced. The nurse didn't think her labor would be very long so she asked the doctor not to break Elizabeth's water until after she received the epidural. Shortly after 10:00 am our doctor came in to break the water. Elizabeth was already to 5 centimeters.... but the doctor soon discovered that little Oliver had recently flipped back around and was no longer head first. Within 15 minutes we were in the operating room for an emergency C-Section.

We are so grateful to finally have Oliver and are so glad that he's a healthy baby!! We hope you enjoy a few pictures... of course we have millions more already but we're tired so we'll just give a little preview! Enjoy!!

Love,
Roberto & Elizabeth

The Galindo's New Adventure.......

The latest exciting news for our family is that Roberto's parents are embarking on a new adventure! Grandma and Grandpa Galindo are moving to Arizona!! They are very excited and found a beautiful BRAND NEW home that will be finished in late October or early November!

It's going to be big enough to hold the whole family on Holidays... and if any of you know how big Roberto's extended family is.... you know it has to be big! :) j/k!!

Anyway, we're very excited for them, and happy that Roberto's dad will be able to retire and they can live a comfortable life in Arizona. The good news is it's only about a 4 hour drive so we can visit often with little Oliver!!

Take Care,

Roberto & Elizabeth

Baby Shower

Elizabeth's mom and a couple of family friends threw Elizabeth and the baby a shower this past Saturday! Elizabeth had a great time and we received a lot of needed things for the baby! We were so grateful!! Here are a few pictures. No we don't live on a farm... and neither do the people who hosted the shower.... but there is a pack of wild burrows that live in the hills near where we live... they served as the welcoming committee!!

You can really see how Elizabeth's belly is growing.... she's not loving it... but only 7 weeks until the due date!!!

We hope you're all doing well!

Maternity Pictures and Everything Else!

Dear Friends and Family:
Things are as crazy as ever! We're working away trying to keep ourselves busy as we anticipate our little guys arrival in a couple of months! Elizabeth is now 26 weeks pregnant! She's been feeling pretty good! As of our last doctors appointment last week she and the baby are healthy and well!

We had the opporunity to take some maternity pictures a couple of weeks ago. You can see a couple of them in this post! Our friend Lindi is an amazing photographer (here's her plug) you can check out more of her work by clicking on the link in the right column of our blog that says "Lindi's Amazing Photos". She has great prices.... anyway!

Aside from our normal Elizabeth has been working on gettiner her Notary. She passed the test and is just waiting for her background check, and Roberto has decided to get his Real Estate License! We've both been keeping busy with work, Isagenix, and studying!

We hope you are all doing well! Please email us and fill us in on everything that is going on with you!

Take Care,

Roberto, Elizabeth & Baby Galindo

Our business ventures and what keeps us busy!

Hi Everyone:

Nothing too exciting to report. At the last ultrasound (last week June 22nd) it was still a boy! And he seems to be doing just fine! We'll have more pictures to post later. We need to get another shot of Elizabeth as her belly continues to grow!

We thought since we hadn't posted in a while we'd fill you in on what keeps us busy! Besides working our full time jobs we also market a nutritional product called Isagenix. We absolutely love it! We have both been using the products for quite some time and decided late last year to get more involved in the marketing business end! So we've been doing that part time building a home based business and earning a little extra income as we grow! It's been fun and a great learning experience!

Isagenix features a total body nutritional cleanse! It's not a colon cleanse or anything like that, but it does help to rid our bodies of the toxins we take in everyday! There are also great tasting meal replacement shakes that help to flood good nutrients into our bodies with active enzymes. This is just a brief explanation of what we do! And to be even more brief we're helping to change peoples lives!

It's been a fun venutre and will soon be the means by which Elizabeth can stay home with our little guy!

We hope you are all doing well! We love and miss you and pray for you often!

The latest

I don't have any pictures today but here is an update! Things have been crazy. We decided to move in with my parents for a while so that we can stop throwing away money on rent and start putting some in savings for a house. We made the move this last Saturday (March 24th) It went pretty smoothly so we were glad for that!

On a more exciting note, we found out that we are expecting! I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and we are very happy, things are going well aside from the yucky morning (all day) sickness! We don't have a due date yet but will keep everyone posted!

We hope all is well with everyone!

Love,
Roberto and Elizabeth

Happy New Year and Happy 30th Birthday Berto!

We want to wish all of our Family and Friends a very Happy New Year! We had a great time on New Year's Eve, we spent the first part of the evening at Elizabeth's friend Rebecca's house and the last part of the evening with Family and Friends and Roberto's parents house! It was a great time full of good food (Tamale's yum yum!) and good company and what is better then ringing in the new year with those you love! Roberto is a New Year's baby and he happened to turn 30 this year! We spent the day at Disneyland with Elizabeth's family... we thought we'd let Roberto still feel like a kid... at least for one more day! :) Enjoy a few pics from Disneyland!

Christmas Time is here!

Here are a couple photos of the Christmas lights at the Los Angeles, CA Temple as well as a one in front of our little (litteraly) Christmas Tree!!

The Addition to the Family right before Elizabeth!

We have been so happy to get to know our niece Vandana who has been visiting from Spain with her mom Terry (Roberto's sister) ! She is so cute... above is a picture of her and her Grandma Galindo when Vandana was two months old!

Catalina and Ensenada Cruise

For our Honeymoon we took a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico! Here are few pictures from the ship overlooking Catalina, one from the formal dining room, and a few from our visit to "La Bufadora" or the blow whole in Ensenada! We had a blast!
